We bought a new Forest River RV from Happy Camper in Caldwell. Jeremy Whitworth was our salesman. He went in on his day off to shoe us the RV to fit our schedule. He was honest through the whole process. The price of the RV was a way better deal than anything around we looked at. Just purchased a brand new Flagstaff from these wonderful people brought it home plugged it in and then the fireplace heater immediately popped and went off so I had it replaced took about a week 10 days to get this done a lot quicker than I thought it would considering they had to order the parts and everything went very well very good contact with me and keep me informed about everything that was going on highly recommend. Passing through the area, we were packing up to leave our rv park and our slide wouldnt retract, a weld broke. The service center squeezed us in at 8:00 the next morning and by 2:00 we were pulling out. Better than new! Thank you big time, Marcus and Josh!!!

Saw this slightly used T@B 400 online and made arrangements to drive to see it from close to 500 miles away. Monte was kind enough to hold it for us to look at. Once in Boise, it was clear the vehicle had been well loved. While we checked it out and put together a check list, Angie and other technical staff worked hard to fix any and every blip or blemish we found. I drove all the way from Spokane Wa to pick up my trailer at the Nampa Happy Camper. The communication with DJ was awesome, making the long distance purchase a a very pleasant experience. This was my first ever trailer purchase and it was great. They had my trailer prepped and ready to go when we got there (early I might add) which i greatly appreciated as i had a long trip home. We happened to be in Garden City and ran across the dealership. The location on Chinden was formerly Bear's RV, but is now part of the Happy Camper dealerships. This was our first purchase of a slide in truck camper and they, Chris and his daughter, were extremely helpful and patient with us. No pressure at all. They were able to answer every question we had, with the understanding we were first time buyers.

Once our decision was made, Chris explained the whole process of the purchase (taxes, title, registration...)in a relaxed setting in his office. Again, no pressure.

When I went to pick up the camper, they had gone through and totally prepped it. Chris then took the time to explain the function of every item in the camper and offered to do it again anytime I needed it. He then showed me how to load it into my truck, and even aired up my tires. These people know service!

If you are looking for an RV, take a look at these guys first. Chris at Happy Camper (formerly Bears RV) won't let you down.

The customer service was outstanding when I purchased my travel trailer. What really blew me away was how helpful the staff was when I traded up 1 year later at another dealer in Rapid City SD! I feel like I betrayed an old friend by going somewhere else but it couldn't be helped. If you're in the Boise area, this is THE place to buy your camper!

Dave in sales was absolutely fantastic to work with. I searched for over two months for the perfect pop up trailer for me. I was deployed overseas so the Internet was it for me. Dave was so accommodating with all my endless questions about the trailer. He didn't hesitate to take a bunch of pictures that I asked for and pictures of the actual dry weight listed on the trailer (which was different than manufacturer website). Dry weight was the deciding factor in ANY trailer for me so this was a biggie. Making a huge purchase like this site unseen (except in pics) is nerve wracking to say the least. After countless emails, text messages I put a deposit to hold the trailer. Happy Camper was one of the very few dealers willing to hold my camper onsite for so long until I returned from deployment. Almost 2 months!!

Fast forward to the day I actually picked the camper up. I Drove 8 hours to Boise to pickup my pop up tent trailer (Flagstaff 176LTD) only to find out that the trailer hitch place back home (who came "highly" recommended by many of my friends) totally screwed up on the installation of my electrical plug on my SUV. (And I'm not even going to mention how totally unimpressed I was by the initial service and business). Kenny in service spent hours trying to figure out the problem. His patience and never ending good humor helped the situation immensely! Needless to say, 4.5 hours later and two trips to a different trailer/truck place in Boise, $125 out of pocket for parts and labor and a lot of head scratching, cussing, and frustration it was finally fixed. Thanks to Happy Camper RV service and sales staff, and the Truck and Trailer Place down the street for their flexibility and willingness to do all they could to get me on the road safely!!!!! I can't recommend Happy Camper and David Hunter highly enough!!! Now onto my next big Adventures...... stay tuned!!

Poor David! He had to deal with us on poor communication between my husband, myself, and my incredible mother in law who was doing most of the communication leg work on our behalf. We finally (thought) we had picked out the right trailer and brought my hubby to see it. Our pick up was scheduled for the next day and when my husband came in to look, we ended up picking a completely different trailer. The service team shined it up, detailed it, fixed a few little things that we asked to be fixed, and it was totally ready to go! David was patient, not pushy, and shared in our excitement even though we may have elevated his blood pressure. Kenny and Chris in the service team answered all, of our questions, gave a very thorough tour, and didn't kick us in the shins for making them detail a second trailer. Waylon was great at our final signing and was also a pleasure to work with. We have a beautiful new trailer and we are so EXCITED to use it soon! Outstanding Performance!I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know what outstanding service was performed by Melanie Bray who went way beyond expectations and going beyond just the extra mile.My wife and I purchased a very nice 5th wheel last year from Happy Camper RV Sales, brought unit home and put it in storage and all paperwork in my home office. Our house burned down including all documents just before Christmas. I called Melanie and explained what happened in order to obtain copies of all documents again in order to license the RV. She was so nice and sympathetic to our plight and without any delays Melanie expedited all documents immediately. Well, my state would not accept that paperwork, therefore, I had to contact Melanie again informing her of this situation and she explained to me the difficulty this may be because she would have to contact the previous owner, get a duplicate title from the state, and make several trips to the County and State as well. Instead of asking me to take care of this of which we are 400+ miles away, she took the initiative and performed all these task upon herself and was done in less than 2 weeks, delivered to my home overnight. Remember, Melanie did not have to do this at all because none of this was her fault.All I can say to you Melanie is you have demonstrated that there are still some great and wonderful people in this world and how refreshing this experience has been.
